The Department regularly organizes special lectures as well as student seminars to enhance the development of communication & presentation skills of the students. Prof. Apurba Ratan Ghosh, Dr. Koushik Ghosh, Dr. Soumendranath Chatterjee of Burdwan University; Dr. Gautom Aditya of Calcutta University; Dr. Nirmal Kumar Sarkar (Retired Professor, Department of life science, Presidency University), eminent field workers Mr. Bishal Santra; Mr. Subroto Ghosh (FEO) and Mr. Chandranarayan Bairagyya (Patentee- Chandra hatchery in fishery, awardee of National Awards for teachers-1996 and Sristi Sanman’ from NIF, Ahmedabad) delivered special lectures during the recent past.
