Facilities

a) Chemistry laboratory has been set up in 1994 in the Room No. G-4 and another Laboratory has been set up in 2015.

b) Departmental Seminar Library has been established on 2006.

c) Computer and Internet facilities are available for Staff and Students in the Department.

d) Along with different Glass apparatus and Chemicals some major equipment like pH Meter, Viscometer, Stalagmometer, Electronic Analytical Balance (Sartorius Group), Potentiometer Dual Channel (Calomel+Platinum Electrode), Chromatographic Chamber with Lid, Equipment for TLC plate preparation, Distillation Apparatus, Cation-Anion Exchanger, Oven, Libig Condenser, Vacuum Pump, Fire Extinguisher etc. are also available to perform different experiments.

e) Along with Chalk and duster method, the teachers also use other teaching aids to prepare the lessons more interesting to the students Some of them are: i) Chart of Periodic Table, ii) Pictorial representation of different types of hybridization, iii) Ball and Stick units to prepare different types of molecules with different hybridisations, to prepare NaCl crystal, Graphite model etc.
